Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are all your flies really hand-tied by you?

Yes — every single fly is tied by me, Rob, right here in the USA. No outsourcing, no factory work. Just a guy at a vise doing what he loves.

  • What kind of hooks and materials do you use?

Only the best. I use top-tier brands like Fulling Mill, Daiichi, Tiemco, and Gamakatsu, along with high-quality materials to ensure durability and performance.

  • Can I request a custom fly or variation of a pattern?

Absolutely! Custom orders are always welcome. Just message me with what you need — pattern, size, colors, or target species — and I’ll take care of it.

  • How long does it take to receive my order?

Most orders ship within 3–5 business days, as all flies are hand-tied to order. You'll be able to choose your preferred shipping speed at checkout:

USPS Ground Advantage: 3–6 business days

USPS Priority Mail: 2–3 business days

USPS Express Mail: 1–2 business days

Custom or larger orders might take a bit longer, but I’ll always keep you in the loop if that’s the case.

  • Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! U.S. orders over $50 ship free. Smaller orders are charged a flat rate, and all shipments include tracking.

  • How do I care for my flies to make them last?

Rinse saltwater flies after use, dry your flies before storing, and rotate patterns to avoid wear. I tie them to last, but a little care goes a long way.
